Founder and Managing Partner of SmartStep Consulting GmbH, Dr. Timm Volmer specializes in healthcare strategy and market access consulting.
He leverages his extensive industry experience in market access, strategic planning, organizational development, and pharmaceutical leadership to support G&L as it addresses complex healthcare challenges.
Under Dr. Volmer’s direction, G&L Healthcare Advisors utilizes a core team of skilled professionals with a broad network of experts and alliances, including international collaborations, to provide customized solutions in healthcare strategy and market access.
Through SmartStep Data Institute GmbH, G&L also offers real-world data insights and structured claims data analysis, supporting healthcare research, cost-effectiveness assessments, and the development of innovative healthcare solutions.
Dr. Volmer holds an MPH in Healthcare Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Diploma in Business administration from the University of Hamburg, and is a graduate of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover.
