Biography
Dr. Steven Hildemann MD, PhD joined G&L’s Board of Directors in May 2024. Steven brings extensive experience as a physician, clinician, scientist, and healthcare leader.
With over three decades in the healthcare industry, Dr. Hildemann’s career grew to senior executive roles, including Global Chief Medical Officer at Merck where he established and led Global Medical Affairs and Patient Safety, and Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Ipsen, where he co-led a major corporate transformation to significantly enhance patient outcomes and enterprise value.
Dr. Hildemann is an active Professor of Medicine and Member of the Faculty at the University of Freiburg, Germany. He holds board certifications in internal medicine and cardiology, with training across internal medicine, notably oncology, immunology and pulmonology.
Steven’s passion extends to novel, data-driven insights and innovative applications of AI. He co-founded a joint venture focused on pre-commercial data sharing in oncology and established early digital ethics.
G&L is pleased to benefit from Dr. Hildemann’s advisory role. His impact will support the company’s global expansion through novel services and strategic acquisitions to deliver G&L’s mission to set standards in global healthcare solutions and services.
